Bridget Ackley

PGA Teaching Professional

Bridget Ackley is originally from Brookfield, WI and has been living in Florida since 2011. She began playing golf at the age of three and credits her parents for encouraging her throughout her golfing career. After a successful junior golf and high school career, she played collegiate golf at the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater for one year. A serious car accident would put her collegiate golf career on hold for over a year. During this time she began coaching for her high school’s varsity golf team as well as assisting with her college team. Her passion for the game grew immensely through coaching and drove her to pursue a career in golf.

Bridget is an U.S. Kids Golf Level 2 Certified Coach, U.S. Kids Top 50 Coach, two-time GRAA Top 100 Growth of the Game Teaching Professional, nominated for Golf Digest's "Best in State," and was recently honored with the 2021 South Florida PGA Section Youth Player Development Award. She has a strong passion for advancing the game through quality instruction and has dedicated a considerable amount of focus on growing the game through junior golf programs. She understands that every golfer’s swing is unique and that there is no “perfect swing.” Her teaching philosophy concentrates on strong fundamentals, impact position, and attaining the goals set by each golfer.
