Doug has spent 50 years as a golf professional in the Ann Arbor area, and at Lake Forest since 2015. While he is semi retired, he still loves to help golfers of all skill levels learn and improve their games. Doug and his wife, Sherri, have three children and four grandchildren.

It’s so enjoyable for me to work with Gilda and her team. Spring time comes with much enthusiasm and an anticipation of the coming season. I know that everyone here is committed to meeting or exceeding your expectations to our best ability.
My teaching style is to work with the individual abilities of each golfer and use the concepts and movements of other sports or athletic motions and apply those to the golf swing. I like to prioritize and work on one or two key items at a time.”

I will work with your current game and develop a customized lesson series to match your ability and experience. We will set realistic goals, and improve your skills to help you reach those goals.
