Adam Ming can be reached at AdamMingGolf@gmail.com for questions or advice about what programs might be best for them, and individual lessons can be booked directly onto Adam’s calendar using the following link: https://my.pga.com/coach/AdamMing/schedule
Adam has spent over 10 years as a golf professional between Southeast Michigan and Buffalo, New York in both the public and private sectors. Originally, his goal was to be a high school teacher, then a sports writer, but his love for golf took over and allowed Adam to combine his passions to become a full-time golf instructor here at Lake Forest Golf Club.
Adam enjoys teaching juniors and beginners especially, and creates an environment of learning that makes this challenging game as fun as possible for his students.
Adam is returning to Michigan after six seasons in Buffalo with his fiancé Kimberly and is thrilled to be setting roots in Ann Arbor.
Teaching Philosophy
Every golfer has the opportunity to enjoy this wonderful game. Each player is unique, and as such, my approach to helping them improve should also be unique. The foundation of a good coaching relationship starts with trust and communication. Every student of mine will receive personalized instruction that takes into account their goals as a player, their available time to practice, their physical limitations, and the ultimate goal of helping them enjoy this game for a lifetime.
“I cannot wait to begin helping the students of Lake Forest Golf Club become as hooked on this great game as I am . Whether a student wants more distance off the tee, better putting and short game, or even competitive aspirations, I hope to help Ann Arbor’s golfers achieve their goals and reach their golfing potential.”
