MEET Steve Scheuermann – PGA Director of Golf

I have been a member of the PGA of America for 43 years as a Head Golf Professional, Director of Golf, and General Manager. I have been privileged to introduce so many new golfers to the great game of golf, and I have shared my teaching experience with thousands of adult and junior golfers. I have spent much of my career in West Michigan and Northern Michigan, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share my passion for golf with Ann Arbor area golfers. I believe in a simple approach to teaching and learning the fundamentals of the golf swing and I thoroughly enjoy watching students improve and hearing their success stories both during the golf lessons and over the years to come. Two of my golf lesson students have had a hole-in-one during their first round of golf that they played after having a golf lesson!

*Founder and Coordinator of the Lake Michigan Junior Golf Tour in West Michigan for ten years

*Awarded the Distinguished Service Award for Junior Golf from the Michigan High School Athletic Association

*Recognized multiple times as one of the Top 50 Junior Golf Teachers in America and a Master Kids Teacher by U.S. Kid’s Golf
