DOUG WHITE:
LFGC's Director of Instruction PGA Golf Professional.
Doug is available for lessons Wednesdays - Saturdays.
To schedule:  (734) 323-3206 or mail: dougwhitegolf@gmail.com

Doug recently retired from a 35 year career in the private setting. Most recently as Head Professional at Barton Hills Country Club. Doug is Director of Golf Operations at On the Dunes Sports, Michigan’s largest indoor golf facility. Doug continues to be involved with the Michigan PGA currently serving as honorary president. Doug and wife Sherri have 3 grown children, and 3 grandchildren.

I am pleased to be back at Lake Forest Golf Club for my third season. I really enjoyed teaching at this great practice facility and meeting many of you last year at the course and at the practice center. My teaching philosophy is simple. Working on one thing at a time and prioritizing what to work on. I don’t teach a set method but use the strengths and limits of my students to plan out the best path for improvement.

I look forward to continuing our Free Lesson Fridays and to the opportunity of meeting you at one of our instruction events this season.

Tim played as an amateur golfer for 22 years, before turning professional in 2010.  He has qualified for twelve national championships, one USGA State Team Championship, two US Amateurs, five US Mid Amateurs, and four PGA National Assistant Championships.
